Folia

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026

Folia processes your PDF files entirely on your own device. We never see, collect, store, or upload your documents.

What Folia does with your files

Folia is a desktop application that edits PDF files locally on your computer. When you open, edit, annotate, sign, or save a PDF, all processing happens on your machine. Your files are never transmitted to us or to any third party. Your original file on disk is never modified unless you explicitly save over it.

Information we collect

None. Folia has no user accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, and no tracking. We do not collect personal data, usage data, or document content.

Network access

The direct-download (.exe) version of Folia makes one type of network request: a periodic check to its own update server to see whether a newer version is available. This request contains only the app version and no personal data. The Microsoft Store version of Folia is updated by the Store and makes no such request.

Third-party services

Folia does not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics, or data-collection services.

Children's privacy

Folia does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy
